Overview
The Associate Pastor will serve alongside the Senior Pastor in advancing the
spiritual health, theological integrity, and missional effectiveness of Table View
Baptist Church, a multi-cultural and multi-generational body.
The role exists to assist in exegetical and gospel-centred preaching and teaching,
pastoral care and counselling, discipleship development, and ministry leadership
within a Baptist ecclesiological framework aligned to the Baptist Union of Southern
Africa.
This individual must demonstrate biblical requirements of an elder, theological depth,
pastoral maturity, initiative, and a heart for shepherding God’s people.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum Requirements Preferred:
– Formal theological training (Degree or Diploma in Theology or equivalent).
– Demonstrable preaching experience.
– Experience in pastoral counselling.
– Accreditation or eligibility for accreditation with the Baptist Union.
– Proven track record of ministry experience, which may include youth work
– Demonstrated leadership in a local church context.
